Ours definitely is. In the last few months, we’ve hit the ground running in Ethiopia. We are:
- Beginning to improve the lives of 14,000 students in 15 schools in Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region!
- Distributing culturally relevant menstrual hygiene booklets to boys and girls in these schools to help combat the stigma around periods, and distributing reusable menstrual pads to the girls.
- Planning a water and sanitation project in one school in Adigudem, a town in Tigray about 45 minutes outside of the regional capital of Mekelle – read more on this below!
